Our New Clients in Q4 2021
We’ve finally arrived at the end of 2021 and looking back at the eventful fourth quarter, we were able to deliver fantastic results for our new clients. Moving into 2022, we’re looking forward to working with new and existing clients to continue to deliver bespoke solutions and services to a high standard.
Firstly, let’s take a look at some of the exciting news that took place in Q4.
The latest news at Influential Software
Tracking environmental impact with Microsoft
With Microsoft’s commitment to helping clients to be aware of and reduce their environmental impact, their Emissions Impact Dashboard got a few upgrades late this year. This included being able to track indirect emissions linked to the product value chain and increased security tools on the tool. Microsoft also announced general availability of the dashboard tool for Microsoft customers using Azure to be able to view, track, report and analyse their carbon emissions as a result of their cloud service usage. This is yet another step towards keeping our environment free of pollutants and reducing energy usage.
Microsoft DDoS attack averted
Microsoft observed one of the most intense DDoS attacks on an Azure system to date in October this year. The attack targeted an Azure customer in Europe and came from 70,000 sources from multiple countries in the Asia Pacific region. Thanks to Azure’s DDoS detection and mitigation pipelines, it was able to absorb the 2.4 Tbps attack by mitigating the traffic and ensuring it did not reach the intended recipient.
Gartner Magic Quadrant report released
The latest Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Cloud Database Management Systems was recently released and our three partners, Microsoft, SAP and IBM, were again recognized as Leaders in the space. We’d like to congratulate each of our partners for achieving the Leader status within the prestigious Gartner Magic Quadrant report. We continue to work closely with our partners and provide excellent services to our clients.
